Instructor: Mr. Leo (Afterschool Staff)
What
is a “zine”? Short for “magazine”, zines are an extremely
expansive medium used to create booklets that are easy to scan, copy,
and share! Students will explore different zine formats, and use a
variety of drawings, collage, text, and all sorts of other things to
create their own zines and postcards! Plenty of supplies will be
provided, but students are welcome to bring their own magazines,
scraps, and anything else they would like to use in their art!
Participants must currently be in grades 3 to 5.
Registration starts on 10/12/2026 and ends on 10/27/2026.
Participants may register at any time during this period.
Please contact Ira B. Jones Elementary School FTO if you have any questions.
